Accurate. Fair. Olympic athlete. Professionalism. Inclusion. Tradition. Innovation.
My AIPS program/ Starting 11:
- Each national association gets one fully funded delegate to the AIPS annual global congress, including travel costs for the first delegate.
- Daily allowances for delegates and officials during congresses and Executive Committee meeting days.
- Young Reporters Programme expands: twice as many countries, partners, and young reporters, with stronger national input on mentors.
- University partnerships for training, Erasmus, and scholarships for both newcomers and senior colleagues.
- AIPS Sport Media Awards decided transparently, with the AIPS Executive Committee making the final decision.
- An AIPS delegate at every major world sporting event, with travel and per diem covered.
- Stronger protection for sports journalists, with clear safety guarantees and minimum working standards.
- AI with rules, involving UN and EU experts to protect human journalism.
- Award winners as ambassadors, producing paid content for AIPS across platforms.
- Gender equality as action, with real support for women and disadvantaged groups.
- Solidarity fund and scholarships so no one is left behind.
I believe:
In the digital era, attention is the new currency.
Everyone wants to be first. Everyone wants to go viral.
Our mission is to be accurate, fair, and human.
Artificial intelligence is the tool, the task, and the information. This topic deserves priority attention. Journalists are the voice, the values, and the meaning. Freedom of the press must be protected.
I am convinced that AIPS must act as a guardian of values while also serving as a modern and proactive organization for its members and its audience.
