My AIPS program/ Starting 11:

• Each national association is entitled to send one delegate to AIPS’s annual global and continental congresses at AIPS’s expense (AIPS will also cover travel costs going forward).
• For the duration of the congresses, and for the days of participation in committee (Executive Committee) meetings, AIPS will pay daily allowances (per diem) to its officials and national delegates.
• In the Young Reporters Programme, we will double the number of participating countries and sports organizations, and we will also double the number of young participants. Mentors may be nominated by the national associations.
• The final judging of the AIPS Media Awards must be carried out by the AIPS Executive Committee, and the elected leadership will make the final decision, composed of the best professionals. The invited expert jury may only conduct the pre-selection, and jury members will be delegated by national associations on a rotating basis, alongside invited professionals.
• AIPS daily operations should be moved from small-town isolation to one of the world’s major sports capitals (e.g., London, Lausanne, Budapest, Vienna, Abu Dhabi, or Doha).
• An AIPS delegate must be sent to every major world sporting event to work with organizers, oversee the quality and professionalism of media services, and then produce a report. These inspectors will be delegated by national associations, with AIPS covering their travel costs and paying daily allowances (per diem).
• Honoraria/fees will be paid for articles, videos, and photos submitted to the AIPS website and magazine.
• The AIPS membership fee will be reduced by half: from USD 40 to USD 20.
• AIPS will support the publication of sports history works and professional/technical books.
• In cooperation with leading universities, we will provide advanced training, courses, and scholarships for sports journalists, and we will also offer such programs through AIPS’s own organization — not only for beginners.
• We will establish a solidarity fund for members who fall into hardship or lose their jobs, and we will provide scholarships to support them.

I believe:

In the digital era, attention is the new currency.
Everyone wants to be first. Everyone wants to be viral.
I believe our mission is to be accurate first, fair first, and human first.
Artificial intelligence is the tool, tasks, information.
Journalists are the voice, values and meaning. Working group on the subject deserve prioritised attention. Because AI is here and stays with us.

I am convinced that AIPS must simultaneously serve as a guardian of values and as a modern, active and proactive organization that serves its members and its audience.
